I’m Lauren, founder and lead officiant of Pop-Up Vows. I help couples plan personal wedding ceremonies in New York City and on Long Island, with guidance on the words, the timing and what happens next.
A Ceremony That Sounds Like You
We’ll start with a questionnaire and a conversation about your relationship, your preferences and anything you want to include. You can read the ceremony beforehand and share your thoughts.
Write your own vows, repeat after your officiant or choose a combination. We’ll talk through readings, rings and the people you’d like involved so everyone knows their part.

This service works well for couples who already have their location or other wedding plans in place, as well as those beginning with a simple ceremony.
New York City and Long Island Ceremonies
In NYC, you might be considering Central Park, a private home or an intimate venue. We’ll discuss your location and any requirements that affect the ceremony.
On Long Island, we serve Nassau and Suffolk counties, including the North Shore, South Shore, North Fork and Hamptons. Beach, backyard, garden and restaurant ceremonies each call for a slightly different plan.
Share your preferred area even if you haven’t chosen the exact spot. Availability and location details will be confirmed before booking.
Officiant Pricing
Tell me your date, location and approximate guest count, and I’ll send a proposal for your ceremony. It will explain what’s included and any additional charges. Travel and parking fees may apply and will be confirmed in your proposal. Required permit and location fees are separate.
