Vanderbilt Museum and Mansion
Spanish Revival architecture, gardens and views of Northport Bay give this Centerport estate a romantic, old-world feel. It's a lovely direction for couples drawn to architectural portraits and an intimate ceremony with a sense of occasion.
Ceremony or elopement arrangements and wedding photography reservations are handled separately with the museum. Ask about the areas available for your date and group, and discuss mobility needs early: cobblestones and stairs can affect the route.
Planting Fields Arboretum
For a garden wedding with an estate backdrop, Planting Fields in Oyster Bay offers a beautiful starting point. Historic landscapes and the Main House create a setting for couples who love greenery, seasonal color and a relaxed portrait walk.
Confirm the ceremony space and timing for your booking with the venue. Outdoor wedding photography has a separate New York State Parks permit process; a photo permit alone does not reserve a ceremony. Plan your route around the paths, season and your guests' access needs.

Islip Grange
The historic church at Islip Grange in Sayville is an option for couples who love a traditional chapel setting and a small, meaningful gathering. The surrounding park gives the day a quieter, historic character.
Ask the Town of Islip about a current ceremony reservation, seating, guest capacity and photography permissions. Confirm the route and any step-free access you need before booking. A separately reserved Sayville-area dinner can be a natural next chapter.
Montauk
Montauk is for couples who picture a coastal wedding day: ocean air, an unhurried ceremony and time together by the water. Choose one specific beach or private property, then build your photographs and celebration around it.
Montauk is an area, with different rules for individual beaches, parks and properties. Ceremony permissions, professional services, parking and guest access all need to be checked for your chosen spot. Even a very small elopement may require a permit. Allow for seasonal crowds, wind and a weather backup.

The Hamptons
A beach ceremony, a private estate or an intimate celebration close to where you're staying. The Hamptons offer several ways to shape a wedding weekend around the people and places you love.
We'll start with an exact location. Town, village, state and private-property requirements differ, including permit eligibility, permitted times and guest limits. Keep your ceremony, portraits and dinner close enough to enjoy, with realistic room for East End traffic.
Long Beach, New York
For couples who want sand, ocean views and a simple beach ceremony, Long Beach is worth exploring. Pair your vows with time for portraits, then celebrate over a separately reserved restaurant meal.
Beach wedding ceremonies require a permit through the City Clerk. The ceremony permit does not allow a beach reception. Confirm current rules for your guest count, setup, timing and photography before planning details. If anyone needs easier beach access, check the available entrance and assistance arrangements in advance.
Long Island Wineries
Vineyard rows and a meal worth lingering over can make a wonderful setting for a small wedding. Long Island wineries are a category to explore, with each property offering its own atmosphere and event options.
Some wineries host weddings; others have different private-event limits. A tasting reservation does not include ceremony permission. Confirm the ceremony space, group size, photography, food arrangements, minimums and rain plan directly with your chosen winery. Wölffer and Raphael are examples with published private-event offerings.

Bailey Arboretum
Bailey Arboretum in Locust Valley brings together gardens, mature trees and an estate setting for a nature-filled ceremony. It offers outdoor ceremony arrangements, including a short site-only option for very small groups.
Choose the arrangement that fits your guest count and the time you want for photographs. The current short site-only option is limited to 20 guests and does not include chairs or Bailey House access. Grounds remain open to the public, and rain arrangements depend on your booking. Confirm current details with the venue.
Before you choose your location
Your date and guest count: Share everyone joining you, plus any seating or mobility needs, before confirming a setting.
Ceremony and photo permissions: These may be separate. Availability, permits, fees and access arrangements are confirmed for your specific date and plans.
Weather and timing: Agree on a rain plan and allow time for parking, walking and travel between photographs.
The celebration afterwards: Reserve dinner or a reception separately unless it is expressly included in your venue agreement.
These are location ideas, not reserved venues or guaranteed inclusions in a Pop-Up Vows package. Venue hire, permits, admission and any other location costs are confirmed separately. Travel and parking fees may apply and will be confirmed in your proposal.
